"Fairoak Barns" with four cottages are located
a few miles from the small country town of
Eccleshall, within easy access of the M6
Motorway.
Once you drive down our mile long driveway you
can enjoy the peace and tranquillity
immediately. During March and April the
driveway is lined with Daffodils, giving a
gentle yellow welcome or farewell !
The cottages within the courtyard area have been
carefully rebuilt to return their natural beauty
and set within a ring fence of 400 acres of
former heathland (now farmland and woodland).
Conveniently located in a delightful corner of
Staffordshire and close to the borders of both
Shropshire and Cheshire.
At Fairoak Grange the barns have been converted
into cottages designed to provide
environmentally friendly holiday accommodation
for guests wishing to reduce their carbon
footprint. In 2007 Fairoak Barns was the winner
of the Stafford Borough Council Green Awards for
Sustainable Tourism).
Converted from a range of stone barns which were
originally part of the working farm. The
cottages utilise the original stone from the
barns and are fixed with traditional
environmentally - friendly lime mortars also
incorporating a range of energy saving features.
